Shannon – Hygienist
Shannon completed Dental Hygiene College in Vancouver in 2012 and moved to Vernon shortly after completion. Passionate about dentistry and people, Shannon is always happy to help you with all your dental needs.
A nature lover that loves to spend her spare time outdoors, Shannon also loves to cook and enjoy our amazing Okanagan wine!
In the winter you will find Shannon at Silver Star Mountain, but not if the Green Bay Packers are playing; if the Pack is playing Shannon will be at home cheering them on!Shelby – Hygienist
Shelby was born and raised in Vernon, and graduated from the Camosun College Dental Hygiene Program in June 2020. She is excited to be back in the Okanagan and looks forward to her future in the profession!
Shelby loves quality time with friends and family, a good exercise class, and the hot Okanagan summer!
Danielle – Hygienist Danielle grew up in the Okanagan, and graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in January 2020. After working for 2 and a half years in White Rock, Danielle is very excited to be back in her hometown.
In her spare time you can find her outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping or playing sports such as soccer, beach volleyball or baseball!

Alysa – Hygienist
Alysa began her career in the dental industry in 2018 when she graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant from Okanagan College. She worked as a CDA for 4 years before furthering her education and graduating as a Registered Dental hygienist from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2023. She is born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan/Shuswap. In her spare time she enjoys all seasons of the outdoors with her friends and family!
Alysa is very passionate about the dental industry and has a special way of making each patient feel comfortable during their visit to Abby Dental Care.
In her spare time you can find her outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping or playing sports such as soccer, beach volleyball or baseball!

Taylor – Dental Assistant
Taylor is one of our incredible dental assistants. She lights up our office with her smile and great sense of humour.
Taylor grew up in Nelson B.C. and graduated as a dental assistant from The College of the Rockies, in Cranbrook. Her weekends are dedicated to her family, and adventuring.

Kalli – Dental Assistant
Kalli was born and raised in Vernon. She graduated from the French immersion program, so she is fluent in both French and English!
Kalli spends her free time with friends and family, and has a deep love for outdoor activities and travelling.
“I am very lucky to be a part of this inspiring team.”
Maddie – Dental Assistant
Maddie was born in Castlegar and moved to Lumby 18 years ago. She enjoys baking, painting, being outside, and hanging out with her family and friends!
“I am super excited to be apart of this fantastic team!”
Danika- Dental Assistant
Danika was born and raised in Coldstream. She loves to spend time exploring with her dog, friends and family. She also enjoys her time in the kitchen, baking and cooking.
“I’m so grateful I was able to join such a caring team!”
Danielle – Reception
Danielle took her Certified Dental Assistant course in 2004 from NAIT(Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). While Danielle is still a certified dental assistant, she has been working in the reception area for about 10 years.
She grew up in the Okanagan and in her free time Danielle enjoys going golfing, cooking, camping, and has her own lash and nail business!

Tia – Reception
Tia is one of the wonderful front desk/receptionists here at Abby Dental Care. Tia graduated from Okanagan College with a certificate in Nursing Administration in 2018.
Tia was born in Enderby which is located 30 minutes north of Vernon.
Tia loves boating, swimming, hiking, camping, and most of the outdoor activities that the Okanagan Valley has to offer.
Natalie – Reception
Natalie was born in Winnipeg, and moved to Vernon in her teens. She now lives here with her husband and her 3 super fun kids. In her free time she enjoys kayaking and spending time at the lake with her family, and hanging out with friends at any of the remarkable local wineries.
Natalie lives for laughter, and performs stand up comedy! (Something she looks forward to continuing to pursue.) She has spent her career in different areas of the medical field, including being a care aid and medical office administrator. We are so delighted to have Natalie as part of our Abby Dental Care team!

Amanda – Reception
Amanda was born and raised in Edmonton, and moved to the Vernon area this year with her boyfriend and 2 cats.
She has been working in the dental field since 2015, and brought great knowledge and experience with her.
Amanda enjoys reading, discovering hikes around the Okanagan and checking out local wineries.
