Shannon – Hygienist
Shannon completed Dental Hygiene College in Vancouver in 2012 and moved to Vernon shortly after completion. Passionate about dentistry and people, Shannon is always happy to help you with all your dental needs.
A nature lover that loves to spend her spare time outdoors, Shannon also loves to cook and enjoy our amazing Okanagan wine!
In the winter you will find Shannon at Silver Star Mountain, but not if the Green Bay Packers are playing; if the Pack is playing, Shannon will be at home cheering them on!
Shelby – Hygienist
Currently on maternity leave.
Shelby was born and raised in Vernon, and graduated from the Camosun College Dental Hygiene Program in June 2020. She is excited to be back in the Okanagan and looks forward to her future in the profession!
Shelby loves quality time with friends and family, a good exercise class, and the hot Okanagan summer!
Danielle – Hygienist
Danielle grew up in the Okanagan, and graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in January 2020. After working for two and a half years in White Rock, Danielle is very excited to be back in her hometown.
In her spare time you can find her outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or playing sports such as soccer, beach volleyball, or baseball!

Kim – Hygienist
Kim graduated from Okanagan College in June of 2020 as a certified dental assistant. After working at Abby Dental as a CDA for a couple of years, she headed out to Toronto for more school, where she graduated as a registered dental hygienist!
Kim practiced in Toronto before returning to her hometown of Vernon in 2024. We have loved having her back with us!
Kim loves being outside, travelling, and having adventures. She has an awesome positive attitude and a fun sense of humour.

Kalli – Dental Assistant
Kalli was born and raised in Vernon. She graduated from the French immersion program, so she is fluent in both French and English!
Kalli spends her free time with friends and family, and has a deep love for outdoor activities and travelling.

Dani – Dental Assistant
Dani was born and raised in Coldstream. She loves to spend time exploring with her dog, friends, and family. She also enjoys her time in the kitchen, baking and cooking.

Corinne – Dental Assistant
Corinne grew up in Armstrong, BC, and graduated from Okanagan College in 1993 as a Certified Dental Assistant.
Corinne is sweet, kind, and is always wearing her smile!
Maddie – Dental Assistant
Maddie was born in Castlegar and graduated from high school in Lumby.
In recent years, she has been dedicated to her studies — completing online courses and in-person certifications — as she works toward becoming a fully certified dental assistant!
Outside of school, Maddie enjoys baking, painting, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her family and friends.

Emberley – Dental Assistant
Emberly graduated from the Okanagan College Kelowna as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2025.
She has always been interested in the medical field and biology and thought that pursuing an education as a Certified Dental A Assistant would be a good way to start her career!
In her spare time she enjoys creating art, skating, and rollerblading. In the future she would love to travel to see different parts of the world in the future.

Tia – Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator
Tia is our office manager here at Abby Dental Care.
Tia graduated from Okanagan College with a certificate in Nursing Administration in 2018 and has been with us ever since!
In December 2023, Tia and her fiancé welcomed their adorable baby boy.
Tia was born in Enderby, where she now lives with her husband, son, and puppy.
Tia loves boating, swimming, hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities that the Okanagan Valley has to offer.

Danielle took her Certified Dental Assistant course in 2004 at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). While Danielle is still a certified dental assistant, she has been working in reception for about 10 years.
She grew up in the Okanagan, and in her free time, Danielle enjoys golfing, cooking, and camping. She also runs her own lash and nail business!

Myah graduated from the Okanagan College dental administration program in 2024.
She was born and raised in Kelowna! She loves her dog, fishing, camping, baking, side by siding, and travelling! Myah has plans to return to school to pursue an education as a registered dental hygienist.
